MISSION: POSSIBLE is the brainchild of Jason Duff. He was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia. Since 2007 he has served as a clinical psychologist in the United States Navy. He and his family have traveled the world and completed two overseas deployments. They continue to serve in the U.S. Navy and are currently based in Annapolis, MD. In May 2017 Jason was diagnosed with Lymphoma. He was successfully treated through surgery, chemotherapy and radiation at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. During his long hours of treatment, he often thought about how he could make a difference once he regained his health. It was then that he decided to launch MISSION: POSSIBLE.

MISSION: POSSIBLE’s first three events raised funds to support the Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia (CSCGP). CSCGP secured our support due to their incredible efforts in providing a free, comprehensive program of social and emotional care and education. This program is designed to enhance the mind, body, and spirit of people affected by cancer. We continue to support CSCGP’s goals to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.

With hundreds of attendees, numerous volunteers, and multiple sponsors, our first two MISSION: POSSIBLE events in 2018 and 2019 raised $27,000 for the CSCGP. In the face of 2020’s worldwide pandemic, we pushed on and held a two-day, virtual event that reached thousands and raised $9,000 dollars in order to assure that no one faces cancer alone.

The initial purpose of MISSION: POSSIBLE was to raise awareness about cancer support, prevention and treatment. These efforts will continue.

MISSION: POSSIBLE was always intended to serve as a vehicle to educate and entertain while operating as a catalyst for change. MISSION: POSSIBLE has the resources, ability and desire to impact a myriad of issues. To this end, in 2020 we decided to focus our efforts on the global pandemic and the effect it had on all of us, specifically during the 2020 holiday season.

On December 19th, 2020, MISSION: POSSIBLE was proud to present OPERATION OUTREACH, a mental health focused event with music, education, baking tips, and fitness instruction. Our goal was to spread some love, educate, support, and entertain so we may all thrive during the holidays and pandemic, and we succeeded.

In 2023, MISSION: POSSIBLE held its first live event in over 3 years at Craft Hall in Philadelphia. We raised $15,000 for CSCGP, bringing our grand total to $51,000! Proving once again that our supporters are the BEST and that when our community comes together, we can make a real difference.

This year, please join us at Craft Hall on February 16th, 2025 to raise money, raise awareness, and to rock n roll. We can’t wait to see you there.
